A pandemonium broke out in Warri, Delta state on Tuesday when a man like Okpako died hours after staying in a hotel with his wife’s saleswoman.

The incident took place in the Odibo extension of the Igbudu area of ​​the oil-rich city.

It was found that Okpako passed out hours after checking in at the hotel with the girl who was alleged to be his wife’s saleswoman.

The deceased’s wife owned a shop in the popular Igbudu Market in Warri.

Eyewitnesses reported that all efforts by the hotel’s staff to resuscitate the deceased were unsuccessful.

He was then taken to a nearby hospital in the area, where medical personnel confirmed that he was dead upon arrival.

Okpako, said to be the chairman of Mile 2 in the Igbudu market, is said to have consumed some substances to increase sexuality.

Those close to the deceased announced that he had secretly met the girl for some time before the unfortunate incident happened.

After the incident, the girl is said to have been arrested by the hotel management and later handed over to police officers from Department “B” in Warri.

Delta State Police PR officer, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident to journalists and the girl’s arrest.

Edafe added that the commando had launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
