Eurofins announced today that it has opened a network of around 500 COVID-19 test centers across Europe to facilitate summer travel.
The Eurofins network, based in Luxembourg, includes important transport hubs for testing the accessibility of locations ranging from supermarkets to business parks and residential areas.
According to a press release, the company’s 500-center network is well developed, with plans to set up around 1,000 test centers this month. The company also operates mobile test centers to further increase availability and access, with these centers being available to city authorities to relieve pressure on existing centers with additional sampling capacity.
Each mobile collection center can process up to 200 PCR tests per day. Eurofins has already introduced the mobile service in Belgium, France and Germany.
